Making A Purchase Just browse our catalogue and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We accept PayPal and will be accepting credit card payments online from 15/11/08. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship and backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. All items are offered subject to availability. Whilst we carry a massive range of stock placing an order does not guarantee the item is available. You will be notified of any out of stock items.
If you do not wish to pay online, you may send your card information via phone, fax or by post. If you are shopping from North America or anywhere else, place your order and your card company will convert the transaction to US Dollars or your own currency.

If you have made a mistake in your order and cannot correct it in the shopping cart, contact us and we will correct the mistake.

When confirmation of your order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

Orders will be sent by Royal Mail or next day courier.
Orders under £90 are charged at £5.95 per delivery.
Orders over £90 are carriage free.

Delivery is via Royal Mail at the following cost:-

up to 10kg : £10.75
up to 15kg : £13.00
up to 20kg : £16.00
up to 30kg : £28.00

All deliveries are week days only and Mainland UK.

European orders are charged at cost. POA

Delivery Schedule All goods are despatched Mainland UK only Monday to Friday. Weekend deliveries currently not available.

Delivery is normally 5 to 7 working days from time of order on blank garments. Decorated garments will take 7 to 14 days from time of order. Blank garments held in stock will be sent for 2 to 3 days delivery.
International orders are generally received in under 21 days.

All deliveries must be signed for unless you request items to be left unsigned when completing the transaction. Items left unsigned are at your own risk. The Stitch Factory and our delivery agents cannot accept any responsibility for loss or damages without a signature.

In the rare event of damage to the box or items please note the delivery ticket accordingly and inform The Stitch Factory immediately. Our delivery agents will not inform us of any damages and losses. Please quote your order reference at all times.

Please ensure the correct address is provided and recipients are able to accept deliveries. Refused and failed deliveries will be returned back to The Stitch Factory at a cost of £14.50 payable by the sender. If no one is available to receive the goods our carrier will notify the recipient of the attempted delivery with a "Card" placed through the letter box. If the items are not claimed within 5 days they will be returned to The Stitch Factory at a cost of £14.50 payable by the sender.

Back Orders If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

If we are unable to deliver within 30 days of receipt of your order we will offer a replacement item with your approval or agree to cancel the order at your convenience.

Tax Charges For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 17.5% VAT is added. All other orders are VAT free.

Credit Card Security Our orders are processed by Protx Secure Payment ensuring maximum security and peace of mind. we do not store your credit card numbers and have no access to them. There is also an option to pay by PayPal or Pay on collection.

Returns Policy You are entitled to cancel your order and return goods within 7 working days for a full refund This does not apply to any decorated goods or goods made to a purchases own specification (eg: screens, embroidery designs, woven ties & labels etc.) A charge of £15 will be made for the non-completion or cancellation of personalised products where a proof has been created and not embroidered, printed or woven.

Cancelation is by letter, fax or email only, quoting the order number supplied to you. A phone call will not be taken as cancelation under any condition!

Items returned should be in an unworn, saleable condition with all labels attached and with original packaging intact. The customer is responsible for the cost and risk of loss or damage when returning the goods. Adequate postal insurance should be taken to cover their value.

Failure to return at the customers expense (except where the items are faulty or do not comply with the contract) The Stitch Factory will recover the items and offset the amount against any refund due. If the items are faulty or do not comply with the contract The Stitch Factory will be liable for return charges.

These terms apply to your order. We may change our terms and conditions at any time, so please do not assume that the same terms will apply in the future.

None of these terms affect your legal rights and these are not diminished in any way. If any term is held to be invalid under any applicable statute or rule of law, that term is automatically omitted from the terms to minimum extent necessary to comply with the law and without affecting the validity or enforceability of the remainder.
